Roto expanded door products

Over the past few years, Roto Frank Window and Door Technology has expanded its door product range.

A new concealed turn restrictor for aluminum doors has been added to the Roto Solid product range that limits the door opening to 125°, preventing potential furniture, wall, and hinge damage. Suitable for leaves with a width between 31.5 – 55 inches, the restrictor features a damped end step, is fully integrated into the door, and can also be retrofitted.

Roto Solid B butt hinges, a popular choice for aluminum doors, were also on display at BAU.

With its showcase at BAU, Roto aimed to highlight doors for different security requirements and designs. The Roto Safe C | C600 cylinder-operated multi-point lock has up to four additional locking points alongside the main lock, with assemblies consisting of combination locks and quad bolts. One turn of the key secures the lock against push-back and the sound-absorbing whisper latch can be turned around when installed, making for easy installation.

In Munich, Roto showcased the Roto Safe A | Tandeo mechanical-automatic multi -point lock and the standard lever-operated espagnolette. The espagnolette features an integrated mishandling device and is compatible with extensions for all standard locking patterns up to a sash rebate height of 9’10” (3,000 mm) in vinyl and wood. The espagnolette can also be combined with all Roto multi -point locks and is corrosion-resistant and secure. The second opening leaf can be locked and unlocked effortlessly using a convenient side lever. This double-leafed main door with a greater opening width and an elegant appearance appeals to architects and builders alike.

Modern sliding solutions from Roto

Large sliding windows and doors are popular worldwide because of their space-saving design. As an internationally recognized supplier of premium hardware systems for sliding elements, Roto Frank Window and Door Technology demonstrated at BAU 2025 the significant improvements in operating convenience and user safety that can be achieved by choosing the right hardware.

The Roto Patio Inowa | Max version is suitable for small to large sliding elements of all frame materials. A ball bearing and height adjustable roller unit with integrated brushes and a comfort cam ensures smooth running and ease of use.

Inowa’s additional Soft functions provide extra comfort. SoftClose and SoftOpen, for sash weights up to 440 pounds, can be combined to gently brake the sash just before pulling it into the locked or open position. This allows users to operate even a heavy sash with ease.

Roto Patio Lift hardware offers smooth running and ease of use, including in weight classes up to 880 pounds. Versions of the Lift&Slide system are available for many standard and slim aluminum and vinyl profiles. These sliding elements can also be equipped with MVS contact sensors for electronic monitoring. In addition, a locking pin for night ventilation makes it possible to ventilate the room without drafts. Dampers are integrated into the espagnolette, even in the standard version, to prevent handle rebound and provide greater safety when operating sashes weighing more than 661 pounds.

Roto's Tilt & Turn hardware

The Roto NX Tilt & Turn hardware product range from Roto Frank Window and Door Technology includes solutions for a wide range of formats. Various hinge sides and an incredibly extensive selection of hardware components ensure that windows and balcony doors function reliably, even at high sash weights.

For many attendees at the trade show in Munich, the Roto NX | C concealed hinge side played a leading role at the Roto booth. The NX | C hinge side and outward opening windows can be used to cater to the new trend for long and slimline formats. All hinge sides from the Roto NX range are robust and tested for durability and performance.

The Roto NX | TiltSafe hardware system allows for burglary inhibition even in the tilt position. Using wired, fully concealed MVS contact elements from the Roto E-Tec Control range, every window with Roto NX can also be integrated into an alarm system.

The demand for Tilt&Turn aluminum windows is growing. With its Roto AL and Roto AL Designo Tilt&Turn hardware product ranges, Roto Window and Door Technology offers manufacturers hardware solutions.

Manufacturers have used the Roto AL Designo concealed hinge side to produce Tilt&Turn windows in a wide variety of formats. Roto is now launching a version for window sashes up to 176 pounds with a possible opening angle of up to 180°, making it simpler to ventilate and clean. The optimized AL Designo | STS enables the window sash to be opened with minimal clearance, offering greater design freedom for 14 mm groove frame profiles.

Increasing market standards demand aluminum windows with tested opening restrictors to enhance frame protection and mitigate potential risks both inside and outside buildings when windows are fully open. At BAU 2025, Roto showcased a new Turn Only retaining restrictor directly controlled by the handle for exceptional operating convenience. This restrictor can be retrofitted and its retaining force adjusted when installed. Users can lock the window sash in any position using the handle.
