Veka North America announced several key leadership appointments and promotions.
Janet Hershey, divisional sales manager, OLP
Janet Hershey assumed the role of divisional sales manager for Veka’s outdoor living products, or OLP. Hershey will lead a seasoned OLP sales team and oversee strategic initiatives to integrate the team’s efforts throughout the Veka enterprise. With a track record of team building, profit-driven sales growth and client-focused strategy development, Hershey brings a customer-centric approach.
Hershey’s experience in the building products industry includes managing a $120 million sales territory, introducing new products, and delivering solutions-driven value propositions to her customers.
Steve Dillon promoted to vice president of marketing
Veka North America announced the promotion of Steve Dillon to vice president of marketing. A team member since 1993, Dillon has been pivotal in shaping Veka’s public image and driving key internal initiatives such as the Serving Leader Program and the We Care Employee Incentive Program. In his expanded role, Dillon oversees product management for both the window and outdoor living product segments.

With his experience, Steve brings an in-depth understanding of market segments and the ability to incorporate the voice of the customer to effectively communicate our unique selling proposition,” says Joe Peilert, president and CEO of Veka North America.
To further enhance the marketing team, Veka will add a window product management specialist reporting directly to Dillon.
Nils Hinrichsen promoted to testing and applications supervisor
Nils Hinrichsen has been promoted to testing and applications supervisor. With nearly 17 years at Veka Inc., Hinrichsen began his career as a technical account manager and transitioned to a testing application technician in 2023. In his new role, Hinrichsen assumes full responsibility for all aspects of testing and certification for windows, doors, fences, decks and railings.
Jeremy Bruce assumes role as product management specialist, OLP
Jeremy Bruce, a long-standing member of Veka’s team, transitioned to the role of product management specialist for OLP within the marketing group. Bruce has contributed to Veka’s success for nearly 25 years, starting as a product design technician in the engineering department and becoming a recognized expert within the OLP division.
In his new role, Bruce reports directly to Dillon and continues to support the engineering department during a transitional period to ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities.
