Window World recognized the winner of the "Views with Vets Giveaway," in partnership with country music star Lee Brice. Tim Simon, a veteran of the United States Army, will receive a houseful of new replacement windows that are energy-efficient and produced in the U.S.
Simon retired from the Army after 21 years of service, and he now resides in Des Moines, Washington. There, he volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House and Habitat for Humanity. While in the military, Simon served in the 82nd Airborne Division before joining the Special Forces. Upon retirement, he chose to receive $0 disability.
"After a lifetime of service to our country, Tim Simon now spends his time volunteering to help others — specifically by helping families in need feel at home," says Tammy Whitworth, Window World chairman and CEO. "We want to thank Tim for his generosity and kind-heartedness by filling his home with new replacement windows from Window World."
"We read SO many amazing stories from so many deserving Veterans! It was really tough to pick just one winner," says Brice. "This generous gift from Window World is just a small token to show how appreciative we are of Tim, the sacrifices he made for our freedom, and his service to his community and others after he'd given so much for our country."
The giveaway is part of a dynamic partnership between Window World and Lee Brice. The singer is teaming up with Window World for charitable projects to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, military veterans and deserving individuals.
