The Vinyl Sustainability Council announced that Vision Extrusions Group is its newest member. Headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, Vision is one of the largest polyvinyl chloride extruders in North America and employs more than 2,000 workers in Canada and the United States. The company employs scientific life cycle assessments to enhance energy efficiency, reduce waste and develop products with a lower environmental impact. It also actively participates in PVC take-back and recycling programs, including post-consumer window recycling pilots across North America, and has developed several products incorporating post-industrial recycled content.
