Viwinco Windows & Doors announced several changes to its executive leadership team.
Michael Duncan Jr.- President and CEO
Michael Duncan Jr. will assume the title of President and CEO.
During his tenure at Viwinco, Duncan Jr. has held key leadership positions. His strategic foresight has played a pivotal role in driving many key initiatives at Viwinco. As President and CEO, Duncan Jr. is committed to fostering strategic innovation, developing employee capability and differentiating Viwinco.
David Barnes- Chairman of the Board
David Barnes will transition from President and CEO to Chairman of the Board, maintaining control of the company and continuing to provide strategic oversight.
As the second-generation owner of Viwinco, Barnes has built the company on a foundation of humble principles, through prioritizing being the best window and door manufacturer, not the biggest. As Chairman of the Board, he will continue to ensure these principals are upheld as he provides strategic guidance and oversight to the leadership team.
Michael Duncan Sr.- Executive Vice President
Michael Duncan Sr. will remain in an advisory role, with the new title of Executive Vice President.
Duncan Sr. joined Viwinco in 1982 as Plant Manager and later served as General Manager. During his tenure at Viwinco, Duncan Sr. helped develop the company and is known for creating its unique manufacturing system. Duncan Sr. is also the patent holder for the Tilt-n-Lock reinforcement featured on the Cambridge, S-Series and OceanView hung-windows. As Executive Vice President, Duncan Sr. will continue to provide guidance to the leadership team.
Skyler Barnes- Chief Research & Development Officer
Skyler Barnes transitions to Chief Research & Development Officer (CR&DO), focusing on advancing innovation in product and equipment design while playing a key role in Viwinco’s strategic direction as the next generation of ownership.
Over the course of his career with Viwinco, Skyler has played a key role in both product development and manufacturing innovation. As Chief Research and Development Officer, Skyler will continue to lead the R&D efforts.
