WDMA Executive Management Conference Continues This Week
The Window & Door Manufacturers Association virtual Executive Management Conference continues this Thursday at 3 p.m. ET as Kermit Baker, chief economist for the American Institute of Architects, will deliver the 2022 Residential, Remodeling and Commercial Outlook. This session will review the building and construction market landscape as we enter the final quarter of 2021 and will provide a forecast for 2022 and beyond for new residential, remodeling, multifamily and commercial building. The session will also look at economic fundamentals, housing market strengths and weaknesses, and insights into consumer demand.
The conference kicked off last week with the opening keynote session of Megan Greene, global economist, Financial Times columnist and senior fellow, Harvard Kennedy School, with a session titled "Understanding the Impact of Climate Change-Driven Economic Transformation on the Industry."
The conference will continue on Oct. 28, with Ted Harrington, executive partner, Independent Security Evaluators, presenting "Think Like a Hacker: Secure Your Brand," and Nov. 4 with David McGinn, executive editor, Harvard Business Review, presenting "Psyched Up: How the Science of Mental Preparation Can Help You Succeed."
