George A. Yuhasz, co-founder and executive vice president, of Winchester Industries in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 8, 2024.
Yuhasz and his business partner, Robert Weis, president, founded Winchester in 1983 and built an exclusive triple-pane replacement window and door program that has been successful for over 40 years. Yuhasz’s ambition, hard work, dedication, humor and admiration for all of Winchester’s employees is a legacy that friends, family, Winchester employees and business associates owe so much to. Winchester’s long-lasting success is a true testament to Yuhasz’s unique professional talents and personality. Yuhasz's spirit and inspiration will continue to lead Winchester well into the future.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, his daughters Susan (Michael) Sugrue, Monica (Bob) Turner, Debra (Wally) Kurth, his five granddaughters, his grandson, and great granddaughter.
