Wincore Windows and Doors, headquartered in Parkersburg, West Virginia, has been acquired by Fernweh Group LLC and its affiliates. Fernweh has offices in New York and San Jose, California.
The release says the change will be seamless for customers, vendors and employees “as all employees and senior management remain with the company and will be supported by Fernweh’s operational partners to maximize the Wincore brand and product offerings.”
There are 485 people employed by Wincore in Wood County. The company, formed in 2007, also has operations in Swainsboro, Georgia.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Fernweh is an investment firm led by individuals with experience in the industrial and industrial technology sectors.
