World Millwork Alliance will hold its second-annual Women In Millwork Conference April 6-9 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort on Clearwater Beach, Florida. The professional-development event, themed, “Opening Doors for Women In Millwork,” will feature roundtable discussions centered on today’s most impactful millwork issues, team-building workshops designed to promote a productive synergy among departments, education focused on building a company culture of success, and networking events, including a special welcome dinner on Monday and a tropical dinner cruise the final evening of the conference.
“The WIM Conference is about motivating and supporting every woman in millwork and each of our individual career choices,” says Rosalie Leone, WMA president and CEO. “It gives us the unique opportunity to learn from one another, share strategies to solve our toughest challenges, and, most importantly, inspire each other to continue our journeys in growth. It really is vital not only in forwarding our attendees’ own personal paths to success but to all of the trailblazers leading the way for women in millwork."
