Quanex announced that its Woodcraft Industries brand will be known as Quanex Custom Components, effective Aug. 1, 2022.
The move comes as a way to bring a united, joined focus to Woodcraft, its subsidiary companies and the rest of the broader Quanex family of brands, according to a statement by the company. Since Quanex acquired Woodcraft in 2015, the brand has broadened its scope into additional materials and service offerings. The name change enables the brand to operate as a single entity that provides a broad range of solutions to customers in a variety of markets.
What to expect now
“This is a big step as we continue to unify and simplify our brands under the Quanex name,” says John Sleva, division president of Quanex Custom Components. “It’s more than just a name change. This move reflects our mindset to work together to make an even greater impact on our customers, the communities we operate in and our employees.”
Customers can expect the same product quality and service from Quanex moving forward. Day-to-day operations and service platforms will also remain the same.
