The Bovone Robotic System for automation of flat glass processing integrates dedicated warehouses for slab storage houses, two vertical edging machines, a vertical washing machine, and two or three multi-axis anthropomorphic robots that operate automatically. The slabs are handled by anthropomorphic robotic arms that position them inside the Bovone edging machines to carry out the various edge-processing stages. The robots can handle glass of different sizes and shapes.
