Centra Windows has acquired Supreme Windows, allowing it to move into the Alberta, Canada, marketplace. Supreme Windows, which is Centra's first acquisition, has been family owned and operated for the past 55 years. The windows will still be made in Alberta, according to a company statement.
“We want to do right by our employees," says Dennis Huber, Supreme Windows owner. "We put a lot of thought into it, and Centra is a very good fit because all the tools are there for them to move the company forward and help the current staff.”
This will be Centra's fifth location and second manufacturing plant. With the addition of the Supreme team, Centra will expand from 375 employee owners to 450.
“At Supreme, you have amazing people who produce amazing products and services," says Garett Wall, CEO, Centra Windows. "That’s like Centra. With like-minded people who are passionate about what they do and how they do it, especially when it comes to great consumer experiences, can you imagine what we can achieve together? The opportunities are endless.”
Supreme employees now have the same benefits as Centra employees, including the chance to become employee owners, which is an option for succession planning with a participation rate of 85 percent.
