Jeld-Wen Execs Take Salary Reduction

A recent filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission showed that Jeld-Wen executives would take a 25 percent reduction in their 2020 base salaries as a response to the challenges brought on by COVID-19, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

The pay cuts are effective immediately and will last through June 30. The Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of Jeld-Wen approved the change on March 28, according to the filing.

The SEC document also says the non-employee directors of the Charlotte-based window and door manufacturer are taking a 25 percent reduction in their annual cash fees and committee chair fees, effective immediately.
