The Window & Door Manufacturers Association named Craig Drumheller as the association’s new vice president of technical activities, effective Dec. 6. In his new role, Drumheller will be responsible for management and oversight of WDMA’s technical, codes and standards activities.
Drumheller comes to WDMA from the National Association of Home Builders, where he most recently served as assistant vice president for codes and standards and managed the association’s Construction Codes and Standards Department and its member committees. He also oversaw the development of the 2020 National Green Building Standard (ICC 700). Prior to joining NAHB in 2013, he was a senior energy engineer at the NAHB Research Center for 14 years.
“We’re excited to welcome Craig to the WDMA team. His extensive background in building codes and standards and his specific knowledge of building envelope issues will be a tremendous asset to WDMA and its members,” says Michael O’Brien, WDMA president and CEO. “His established reputation in the field will no doubt allow him to hit the ground running.”
